Get da look - Peplum

Peplum Top - River Island
Leggings - River Island
Boots - Aldo
Necklace - Xquisitize
Hand Chain - River Island

Love this look. The bright orange peplum top brings colour to the outfit with its unique style making the compilation unforgettable. Peplum style is invading the fashion world occurring in skirt designs as well! I love this specific top because of its bold block colour and leopard print belt.

With winter approaching I've been on a hunt for new boots that I can wear no matter the occasion. The boots above are simple but nice and can be worn over and over and over and over again without anyone accusing you of having no variety! Therefore at £60 its a smart investment because boots like these would never go out of fashion.

When it comes to the jewellery I believe it adds a risky look to the outfit. The necklace from Xquisitize itself, is rare and can be worn in different occasions. Another necklace from Xquisitize which can be also be worn in the outfit is the leopard print collar necklace below.

So what do you think of the outfit altogether?
Which necklace would you go for - angel wings or leopard skin?
How else have you worn a peplum top/skirt?
Make a comment !!

Goodnight and God bless

Get da Look - Uneven Ground.......

This video was created over a year ago by The Fashion Sight.
To be honest, I hadn't been following this youtube channel when I came across this video. However I really love the outfit and the way she expressed it in the video; therefore I've decided to create a 'get da look' post in inspiration of her first outfit.

African love

I believe its about time African fashion gets the homage it deserves.
I first got inspired to create this post a few days back as I came across the blog African Prints in Fashion which led me onto another blog Nothing But The Wax, a French blog dedicated to African wax fabrics; Henceforth I embarked a mass research into african fashion and found myself enticed by the multiple modern African brands and labels I discovered.

Celebrity Inspired

You open that magazine/ newspaper/ gossip website and there you see it; flawless skin, long bouncy - split end free hair (or weave) , an unbelievably perfect figure and most importantly......... Top of the range, rare and exclusive, designer stamped clothes. As you may have guessed this can be nothing other than a celebrity.
For a moment no thought runs through your mind, you just look, you just observe. Then you note how only those certain shorts from that specific designer would make your legs look as faultless as hers do. How that exact bag from that precise label is all that you'll need to make your heart content.
But you realise that there is no way you'll be getting that item any time soon - however she, that goddess on the page, she has it! A frantic twitch builds up in your left eye, you nostrils flare and your exhaling heavily, you try to look calm and relaxed but this emotion has built up inside of you - jealousy.
I know I'm being melodramatic with the scenario but truth be told we all experience that feeling now and then, but why? Honestly, there's no reason to get jealous. What I love about Fashion is that even if your closet isn't filled with designer labels you can still look great! Someone with a high street closet could be wayyy more fashionable than someone with a designer closet.
But don't get me wrong, say if any of you would like to offer me, I don't know..... a Channel bag, trust me I won't neglect it!

So today I'm going to be looking at some of my favourite Celebrity fashionistas and transforming the look with high street clothes in attempt to still get a trendy look......

The Queen B. No surprise to many that she's an inspiration to me when it comes to fashion. Here she's wearing a Carven Print Muslin Shirt, Vionnet Cotton - twill tapered pants and Christian Louboutin pumps.

and here's what I found.

Shoes: Aldo
Top: Forever 21
Glasses: TopShop
Trousers: Forever 21

I love the subtle pink colour coding effect in Beyonce's outfit and I adore her top as well, it was especially hard to find something as unique that would also look casual and sophisticated with the pleated trousers. But I eventually did, in fact, when I wasn't even looking! Moreover the blouse from 'Forever 21' would look great if you styled it up your own way.

Next!

Oh yes. Miss Rita Ora! When choosing which of her outfits to be inspired by for this post I was spoilt for choice!

I admire the way she enlightened the simple tube pants and boyfriend blazer with bright yellow colours from her top and shoes. The quirkiness of the outfit is amusing with a banana blouse and smiley face shoes, effectively adding humour to fashion. You don't know how much I adore this woman's style.

Blazer: River Island
Watch: Asos
Blouse: Miss Selfridge
Shoes: Chockers
Trousers: River island

And Finally...

It's as if RiRi can turn a normal outfit into, well, a stunning outfit! I love how the combination of neutral and mild colours produce a gentle, spring time look. Rihanna's heeled sandals are gorgeous; they're stylish, unique and their camel colour go really well with the outfit.
Although the denim shirt I have chosen is different to RiRi's own it would look stunning alongside the cream skater skirt and sandals; you could wear it however you want and add accessories as additions to the outfit.

I'm sorry that the skirt may be hard to see.
Skirt: River Island
Shirt: Forever 21
Shoes: TopShop

That's it for now.
Remember. It depends on how you present your clothes that judge the real value.

The Bag Hunt

Okay I have a confession to make......
I have a thing for bags.
Now I wouldn't go calling it an unhealthy addiction, and it's not as if I have constant dreams about them every night; or that every time I set my eyes on one I get an overwhelming tingling sensation that pulls me to my knees as I marvel and drool over it like a mad woman. No. None of that. But I do get warm fuzzy feelings now and then.
However, I like to refer to it as a controlled admiration, every fashion lover has that certain type of clothing or accessory that they cherish most; for some it may be shoes, for others it may be jewellery, I guess for me its bags. So on behalf on my controlled admiration for bags I have decided to go on a bag hunt!

First post x

Hey
Welcome! This is the first of many posts I'll be making for the Xquisitize blog.
In this blog I'll be writing about my thoughts, opinions and most significantly fashion!
Firstly I'll just explain the name 'Xqusitize' for you. I bet most of you found it hard to pronounce the name at first sight, but its okay, don't panic its not latin!
However the name is inspired by the adjective 'exquisite'; to be exquisite means that you are of special beauty or charm, or rare and appealing excellence, the '-ize' bit at the end was added to suppose the acquisition of it, but truthfully to be exquisite is inevitable. We're all God's creations and for us to be placed on this earth simply demands us to be amazing and.... exquisite in our own way and nature.
This then leads on to the 'X' part of the name. An 'X' often signifies when something is anonymous, unknown or unverified, in this case the exact definition of beauty is left unknown. Only a shallow minded person could say that the only way for someone or something to be beautiful or excellent is if they sit under a certain category, or look and act a certain way. Beauty is diverse and truly comes in many ways.

So that's it for my first post.
I'm currently overflowing with ideas for future posts to come so I promise you won't get bored.
And please follow.
Thank you !!

So that I don't leave this post without a picture I added this witty instagram photo xx
