Priorities matter!!

Never ever ever forget your priorities.
If you're only going to remember one statement in this post make sure it was the latter.
No matter what stage you're at in your life knowing your priorities is essential. In your social life you have to equalize the time you spend with friends and family; In the world of adulthood (from what I hear and see on TV) you have to determine times for work and time for play. Even now I need to judge when I can indulge myself into the world of social networking, including my newfound love for pinterest and when I should be getting my homework done.

Moreover, the need to remember your priorities and to stay organise occurs even when shopping.
Imagine. You've come back after a long day of shopping - you wipe the salty streaks of sweat from your forehead, produced from consecutive store rampages. You clear the soreness in your throat from the aggressive argument you had had with that obnoxious woman at the counter who had denied that the coat in your hand was on sale. You remove your six inch heels to discover that you have a severe blister in need of an overload of ointment. You get what I'm saying.
However every time you glance over to the large pile of bags you're reminded of why you endure the pain. Nevertheless, when looking through the bags you're disappointed by the mess you've made of your shopping spree; its midwinter but you bought a pair of hotpants; you've acquired a dress, yes it is cute, but you realize you didn't even check the size before you bought it; in addition you check your bank account only to discover that you have shamefully spent twice your budget amount......

But why? Why does this happen.
Oh my dear friends, I know perfectly well why this happens.
When shopping we naturally become vulnerable victims to deceptive bargains; we find ourselves as imprisoned preys of the predators that italic designer labels are.
And this is where we must remember what I said in the first line of this post ....... Never ever ever forget your priorities!

This is how to shop....
1. Before shopping ALWAYS make a list of what you need desperately to buy. I don't care whether its on paper or on your blackberry, Iphone or engraved into your mind; you need a list! By having a list that you have devoted yourself to there is no way that you can find yourself in that situation I described earlier.
On your list note all the items you intend to buy. Of course you have to shop sensibly; buy what you know you would wear now or maybe further in the future. You don't only have to buy what everyone is wearing right now because in a month or so everyone will be wearing something else. Moreover, remember what time of the year it is - don't go buying a heavy coat in the middle of July!

2. Have a budget or guideline to how much you will spend and once again be devoted to it - you have to be disciplined!! Therefore you won't go manic when shopping and would, hopefully, be able to control yourself when shopping.
If forming a budget won't help you then transfer the limited money you can spend to a separate account just incase you decide to betray your budget.
Remember that checklist? Well beside each of the items on your list put a limit on how much you will spend on it. But be reasonable. This would be a helpful guideline when shopping.

3. Be free to experiment. Go to shops that you may not of heard about, you don't have to shop in them but just look  - you never no what you may find!

So now that you have my free helpful tips go on............ shop girl!!!

Goodnight and God bless
Angel xx
